About us
PLAYMAKERS has been formed by two Performing Arts professionals Lisa Copson and Salli Gage who bring together diverse experiences from working in the performing arts industry for over 10 years. After years of training, both have worked with highly regarded professionals from the world of dance and theatre and are now sharing their knowledge and experiences through specially designed dance and theatre programmes. PLAYMAKERS ethos is to provide young people with a professional experience; high quality training, a variety of performance platforms and opportunities to work with a range of performing arts professionals whilst endeavouring to get the best out of each individual.

Lisa Copson
PERFORMING ARTS TUTOR
I have been working professionally since graduating from London College of Dance with a BA Hons in Dance. I have been working as a dance and drama artist across the West Midlands and South East for the first 10 years of my career before qualifying as a primary school teacher. I am a qualified Dance teacher with the ISTD and IDTA and enjoy a wealth of experience teaching a wide range of dance and drama techniques. My passion is to encourage creativity and I enjoy seeing the talents and confidence of our pupils grow.
Salli Gage
PERFORMING ARTS TUTOR
Since graduating from London College Dance in 2002 with a BA Hons Degree in Dance, I worked professionally as a singer and dancer both in the UK and overseas. For the past 6 years I have been lucky enough to perform as part of the successful Abba tribute band 'Abba Again' and have travelled all over Europe as a lead vocalist. Since settling back in the UK permanently, I have worked as a freelance choreographer and dance teacher. I have produced and directed several musical revue shows for Cradley Heath Amateur Operatic Society (CHAOS) and I enjoy teaching various genres of dance ranging from ballet to street. I am also an acting member of local operatic societies where I love being back on stage.
